Help us to make a difference

The Elmwood High School Legacy Fund has been helping students pursue their post-secondary dreams since 2009. Every donation is meaningful, helping EHS graduates with the significant costs of attending university, college, or technical school. Your generosity has an immediate impact for students who do not have the financial means to fund their schooling.

Ideas for giving

Here are ways you can help EHS students pursue
their educational and career goals.

Contribute to the EHS bursary fund

Bursaries are awarded to graduating students based on financial need and other criteria. They help students with tuition costs at a university, college, or technical school.

Create or add to an EHS scholarship

With a donation of $10,000 or more, you can create a named scholarship to benefit students in perpetuity. You can also give to our existing scholarships.

Leave a gift in your will or
assign an insurance policy

Working with The Winnipeg Foundation, we can tailor a plan that meets your philanthropy goals.

Give a gift in honour or memory

Celebrate a milestone or honour a significant individual in your life through a donation to the bursary fund or by creating a scholarship.

Give as a graduating class

Some of our alumni make an impact by giving as a graduating class. Consider a donation from your alumni get-togethers or class reunion event.

Attend our annual golf tournament

Each year in July we host a popular 9-hole golf tournament for alumni and friends, with the proceeds supporting EHS students. We’d love for you to join us!

Our donors

We gratefully acknowledge the generosity of the following donors who have gifted $100 or more. We also proudly display their names at Elmwood High School.

  • Emerald Circle donors can create a named scholarship. For more information about how to set up a scholarship, contact us at donate@ehslegacyfund.ca.
